- USSSA: Travel / select tournaments under USSSA sanction
- Little League: Little League Baseball divisions (Majors and below, Intermediate 50/70, Junior)
- USA Baseball events: USA Baseball's own national events (Futures, Championships, NTIS); many rec leagues also use the USABat standard
The one-minute version
- Look at the stamp on the bat. USA Baseball, USSSA 1.15 BPF, or BBCOR .50.
- Little League (12 and under): USA Baseball stamp only.
- USSSA travel ball: USSSA, USA or BBCOR stamps; -8 or heavier at 13U; BBCOR at 14U unless your state allows -5.
- USA Baseball events 13U+: BBCOR -3 or wood.
